I am a marine scientist from Brazil, working on coastal ecosystems conservation and on how ocean modeling can be applied to secure ocean biodiversity in the face of climate change. I am particularly interested in marine spatial ecology, with a focus on connectivity modeling, climate-driven species redistribution, and extreme temperature events dynamics.

Graduated in Oceanography at the University of Sao Paulo (USP) and Master’s in Remote Sensing from the National Institute for Space Research (INPE), I had also worked with statistical analysis applied to stratigraphic records, and the influence of land-use change in water quality parameters.

Currently, I’m a PhD candidate at the Institute of Science Tokyo (東京科学大学) under the NakamuLab.
